SEATTLE – Against Garfield High, the Bainbridge varsity boys basketball team found themselves short 87-29 in a loss on the road Friday, Dec. 11.

Bainbridge was outscored in every quarter, managing less than 10 points in each (24-9, 25-4, 21-9, 17-7).

Garfield’s Jaylen Nowell was the lead offensive player of the night, scoring 15 points.

Marcus Clyde led the scoring game for the Spartans, ending the night with nine points. Miles Gori added eight and Sawyer Conrad chipped in four as well.

The non-league loss left Bainbridge with an even 2-2 overall season record and the third-place spot in the Metro Mountain division, behind Seattle Prep (1-0) and Eastside Catholic (1-0).

The Spartans returned home to host O’Dea Tuesday, Dec. 15, before hitting the road again to play Seattle Prep Friday, Dec. 18.
