Book BFFs is coming to the Bainbridge Public Library at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 8.
The Bainbridge Island Photo Club meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 at the Strawberry Hill Center, 7666 High School Road NE. The special subject of this meeting will be “water’s edge or moving water.”
An Ohio-based company that builds shopping centers has been in talks with Bainbridge Island city officials on a proposal to develop a retail center and medical office building at Highway 305 and NE High School Road.
Girls’ Night Out, which is expected to draw approximately 300 women, extended its hours this year to 9 p.m. The annual event features special offers and deals at island shops for ladies out on the town. It is a time for girlfriends to let loose, shop, eat and play all while supporting local island businesses.
