This week in Spartan sports gets rolling with boys basketball. The Bainbridge boys teams will take on North Kitsap in Viking territory Monday, Dec. 1.

Action gets underway with the Bainbridge-NK junior varsity game at 5:15 p.m. at North Kitsap High.

The varsity game follows at 7 p.m.

The Spartan C team will square off against North Kitsap at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Poulsbo Middle School.

The Spartan girls basketball teams commence play on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at home in Paski Gymnasium against Sequim.

The JV girls team plays at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity matchup at 6:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, the Spartan girls welcome Port Angeles to Bainbridge. The JV basketball game begins at 5 p.m., followed by the girls varsity game at 7 p.m.

Also Thursday, the Spartan wrestling team competes in a varsity quad meet at 6 p.m. at Bishop Blanchet High. Teams include Bishop Blanchet, Chief Sealth and Franklin.

On Friday, Dec. 5, the BHS girls and boys basketball teams travel to Sammamish to play Eastside Catholic.

The girls JV game starts at 3:30 p.m., with girls varsity action following at 6:30 p.m.

The Spartan boys varsity basketball will play the Crusaders at 8 p.m. Friday.

Also on the road to the Eastside; the boys C and JV teams. The C team hoopsters play EC at 4:45 p.m., and the boys JV game has a 5 p.m. start.

On the Rock Friday, the Bainbridge boys swim team welcomes Eastside Catholic to the Bainbridge Aquatics Center. The meet starts at 3:30  p.m.

The Spartan gymnastics team will host a home varsity meet Friday against Shorecrest and Shorewood. The meet starts at 6 p.m.

This week in Spartan sports wraps up with a varsity wresting tournament in Kingston. The tourney starts at 10 a.m.
