Spartan girls best EC in season golf debut

SEATTLE - The Bainbridge High girls varsity golf team beat the previously undefeated Crusaders of Eastside Catholic in their first match of the season on the road.

SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High girls varsity golf team beat the previously undefeated Crusaders of Eastside Catholic in their first match of the season on the road Friday, Sept. 18.

The final score saw the Spartans up 90-86.

The Crusaders had gone into the match boasting a 4-0 record.

Captain Claire Lunzer lead the Spartans with 25 points, said Spartan Head Coach Ian Havill.

Kiera Havill and Taylor Tye chipped in 23 points each for Bainbridge.
