Spartan ballers suffer 71-49 loss on the road

The Bainbridge High varsity girls basketball team suffered a 71-49 loss at their first non-home game of the season Wednesday against Roosevelt High.

SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High varsity girls basketball team suffered a 71-49 loss at their first non-home game of the season Wednesday against Roosevelt High.

The host school lead 24-14 in the first quarter and stayed significantly ahead in every quarter except the second, where BHS managed to lead 16-11.

The loss, a season first for the Spartans, brought the team’s overall record to 2-1.

The team will play at home at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12 against Garfield High.
