SEATTLE – The Spartans went out on top last week as the boys varsity golf team ended their schedule of regular season matches with a decisive 136-83 win on the road against Nathan Hale.

The team was led in points by captain Hudson Hausmann and usual pack leader Sam Warkentin, who both managed 24.

Thomas Crowley and Brooks Wallace ended with final scores of

23 points each, Nate Boegl managed 22 and David Wellbrock chipped in 20 points.

The varsity Metro Tournament began Tuesday, Oct. 14 at the Jefferson Park Golf Club in Seattle.

The Spartans entered the tournament with an overall record of 10-1.
