Ronald John Berry

May 28, 1950 – April 13, 2013

      Ronald John Berry of Bainbridge Island, died unexpectedly April 13th, 2013, while on a bicycle ride near Port Angeles, WA.

      Ron was born at the Winslow clinic, Bainbridge Island, May 28th, 1950 to John and Carmen Berry. After graduating from Bainbridge High School in 1968, he continued his education and received a B.S. in Physics from Seattle University in 1972 and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Washington in 1974.

      He worked as a nuclear engineer at United Nuclear Industries until 1978. He spent the remainder of his career working as a mechanical engineer; first at Pan American World Services, then Harris Group and finally Amgen.

He is survived by his wife Kristy and sons, Aaron and Max, mother Carmen, brothers Tom and Greg (Nina), nieces and nephews: Tom, Anna (Solomon-Berry), Allison (Berry Orejudos), Angela and Natalie Berry.

      Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island at 10 a.m. Saturday the 27th of April.
