Weekend weather report: More of the lame | The Bainbridge Blab

This week’s rainy weather will continue into the weekend and beyond on Bainbridge Island.

That’s the latest forecast for this weekend’s weather on the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Saturday will see a 50 percent chance of rain, mainly before 4 p.m. It will stay cloudy, with a high temperature near 54 degrees.

Saturday night, there’s a 30 percent chance of rain, mainly after 10 p.m. Cloudy skies stick around, with a low around 48.

Come Sunday, forecasters say more rain is likely, mainly after 4 p.m. The day will be cloudy, with a high near 57. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent, and new precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible.

Expect some breezy weather, with south-southwest winds around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

More rain is likely Sunday night, as the chance of rain remains at 60 percent. Skies will be cloudy, and the low will drop to around 47.

Rain and a chance of showers continue until Wednesday, when sunny skies and a high near 51 is expected.
