Mike Spence has increased his lead over Dale Perry by 154 votes in the race for the District 2 seat on the Bainbridge Island School Board.

Kitsap County election officials released a new vote count late Wednesday for the 2013 General Election.

In the newest tally, Spence, the incumbent, has put a little bit more distance between himself and the challenger.

Spence now has 56.9 percent of the vote, up from 56.8 percent on Election Night.

Perry has 42.8 percent; a position unchanged from the first count on Election Night.

Spence now has a total of 3,103 votes to Perry’s 2,333.
