Go Seahawk fans! Right to the ferry!

That’s the word from Washington State Ferries. WSF is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle and Seattle-Bremerton ferry routes to expect long lines as people make their way to the Seattle Seahawks’ victory parade Wednesday in Seattle.

The parade through downtown, which starts at 11 a.m. on Fourth Avenue south of Denny Way, is expected to draw large crowds to downtown Seattle. The parade will end at CenturyLink Field.

WSF advises that ticket lines may be long, and ferry passengers are being encouraged to pre-purchase their ferry tickets early for the return home.

Ferry travelers should expect heavy traffic eastbound in the morning and plan accordingly.
