Navy commander gives first-hand account of women at sea

Presenter Darlene Iskra, Commander, USN (Ret.), knows the story first-hand as one of the first female line officer graduates of the Navy School of Diving and Salvage (1980) and as the first woman commander of a commissioned naval vessel (1990). Iskra’s doctoral dissertation was entitled “Breaking through the Glass Ceiling.”
