Mesmerized | Photo of the day 1.22

Astrid the cat is mesmerized by a wand toy at the PAWS adoption center in Pleasant Beach on Monday.

The dilute tortie is a playful girl, about 2 years old, and has been at the shelter for about two weeks.

The PAWS Pleasant Beach adoption center is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
