Daughter of Holocaust rescuer to speak on Bainbridge

Congregation Kol Shalom hosts a lecture by Jeannie Smith, daughter of Polish rescuer Irene Gut OpDyke, on Thursday, April 4.

Smith will be speaking about her mother’s memoir, “In My Hands: Memories of a Holocaust Rescuer.” The lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by a book signing at 9 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public. Donations will be gratefully accepted.
