Islanders walk along the Old Mill Trail after the grand opening celebration for the new trail Sunday at IslandWood.

Nearly a hundred people came out for the opening, and volunteers from the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation and IslandWood guided tours along the trail, which connects the two historic island neighborhoods of Old Mill and Blakely.
