The Bainbridge Island Studio Tour has a new board on board to help with preparations for the 30th Winter Studio Tour.

The creative team of artists and studio owners are tasked with the business of the tour, including the start of new efforts this year that include a Youth Award Program, a scholarship for local high school students.

New board members are Todd Butler, president, and Danna Watson, treasurer. Continuing in their two-year terms are Elizabeth VanDuine, vice president, and Terry Siebert, secretary.

Tour manager Dinah Satterwhite is also a board member, and said the new group has a wonderful and vibrant energy.

“As we prepare for our 30th anniversary, I’m so excited to be working with our new board members who have vision, a positive and forward-thinking energy, and a lot of heart for the local art community and our artists,” Satterwhite said.

The theme for the winter tour is “30 Years, 30 Treasures, 30 Stories.” The tour will be held Dec. 6, 7 and 8.

“We will be sharing heart-warming and inspiring stories from four artists and our patrons on our website, Facebook, and other media,” Satterwhite said.

“Speaking for all of our artists, I can say that we are so grateful to be in such a supportive and engaged community where artists can flourish, evolve, and share their passion. Thank you for 30 years — see you at the tour,” she said.
