Friday, March 15

9:47 a.m. A family recently moved to the island and reported to police that jewelry was stolen while their belongings were moved to the United States from Luxembourg. Two companies moved the family’s belongings and both denied having anything to do with the jewelry. The family didn’t expect to get the valuables back, which included a pair of gold diamond earrings, a gold and diamond necklace and an Omega watch. The total value of the items lost was $9,960.

11:25 a.m. A digital camera was found in the woods near Point White Drive. It was turned into police.

Monday, March 18

6:37 a.m. A Poulsbo man brought a mountain bike into the police station. He found the bike abandoned on Ericksen Avenue.

4:05 p.m. An islander reported that a girls cruiser bike was stolen from a car port where it had been locked on Homestead Lane. The bike was valued at $129.
