Because of the citizen’s 70 percent vote mandate to change COBI’s form of government I beg the present council members to go for a professional position search for the new city manager.

We need a complete cultural change. And if Mark Dombroski shows up as the best candidate, great.

More importantly, the newly elected council should be the one to hire the manager, after the search, not the present council.

When are we going to have some open public meetings to explain all the legal changes this “yes” vote approved?

Let us hope for a whole bunch of community leaders that sign up to run for City Council next week.
