Marina Philip, a 2010 graduate of Bainbridge High School and Poulsbo resident, graduated from Western Washington University Saturday, June 13 with a biochemistry degree and a minor in journalism.

She will continue her education in the fall at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where she will be working on a doctorate’s degree in chemistry.
