Students at The Island School kicked off its month-long study of Italy by performing an Italian folk tale and learning how to play the mandolin.

Throughout the event, parents and students tasted traditional snacks of caprese skewers and panettone.

Classrooms were also transformed to reflect traditional Italian architecture.
