Bainbridge gets new application for retail pot shop

Bainbridge Island has received a new application for a marijuana retail store, City Manager Doug Schulze told the city council at its Tuesday meeting.

Schulze offered few details, but said the pot store is proposed for 8040 North Day Road and does not conflict with the city’s regulations on locations for legal marijuana retail operations.

“That is within the approved zone area that the council adopted,” Schulze said.

Schulze said the application was received on Feb. 10.
