An 18-year-old Bainbridge High student is being held without bail in Clallam County Jail following his arrest Thursday on Bainbridge Island for the alleged murder of a 71-year-old Sequim woman.
Benjamin Bonner, 18, was arrested by Bainbridge police late Thursday.
He was booked into Clallam County Jail just after midnight Thursday.
Bonner was booked into jail on three charges: murder, animal cruelty and theft of a motor vehicle.
According to the Sequim Gazette, police were called to a house in the Sunland Golf & Country Club neighborhood in Sequim after friends of Cynthia Little found her dead in her home.
Police determined she had been murdered. Her car, a 2004 Honda CRV, was also discovered missing.
The missing Honda was found outside a home on Bainbridge Island by Bainbridge police, and Bonner was taken into custody.
