Teri and Chuck Weldy of Bainbridge Island are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Chad, to Anna Engstrom, daughter of Joan and John Engstrom of West Bend, Wisconsin.

Dr. Chad Weldy, who received his doctorate’s degree from the University of Washington, is currently a medical student at Duke University Medical School in North Carolina. He is a graduate of Bainbridge High School and Western Washington University.

Anna Engstrom, who received her undergraduate degree from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is currently a doctoral candidate in the toxicology program at the University of Washington.

A July wedding is planned.
