Island golfer gets hole-in-one

UNIVERSITY PLACE – Mike Weisner of Bainbridge Island had a hole-in-one recently at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place.

Weisner has been golfing for 30 years, and it was his first career hole-in-one.

Weisner’s super shot on April 4 came on the course’s ninth hole; he played it 159 yards with a 9-iron.
