This week’s adoptable pets are Steele and Kash.

For adoption through PAWS:

Steele is a 3-year-old short-haired gray tabby male who came in as a stray Steele loves to be petted from head to tail.

He likes belly rubs, too. He got along OK with the other cats at the Cattery. He might be OK with a cat-savvy dog.

He is at the PAWS Pleasant Beach adoption center (open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday).

For adoption through Kitsap Humane Society:

Kash, a 4-year-old Pit mix, recently got to explore Green Mountain.

He seemed to love every minute of it. He handled passing dogs, horses and people on the trail well.
