Teachers take to the streets for one-day walkout | SLIDESHOW

School teachers from across the Bainbridge Island School District left their classrooms and took to the streets April 30 in protest of the state Legislature’s inadequate funding of public education, with many going so far as to travel to Olympia and speak with lawmakers.
