The pedestrian bridge on Bainbridge’s Waterfront Trail will be closed starting Monday, Jan. 7 for repairs.

City of Bainbridge Island Officials said the bridge, which is east of Waterfront Park, needs to be shut down through February so the span’s decking and guardrails can be replaced.

The project also includes the installation of new lights on the bridge and along the trail, between the bridge and Harborview Drive.
