Dan Meyer and Sally Hewett try to remove a particularly stubborn holly root during a work party organized by the Bainbridge Island Land Trust Sunday at the Quitslund Family Farm on north Bainbridge.
About a dozen volunteers spent a big part of the rainy day removing invasive weeds and doing a general clean-up on the property.
