Townsend to continue as deputy mayor for Bainbridge Isalnd

Bainbridge Island Councilman Roger Townsend will continue to serve as deputy mayor through June.
The council voted unanimously to extend Townsend’s term as deputy mayor at the council’s meeting last week.
He was the only council member nominated for the position.
