June wedding is in the works

Dave and Liz Cordes of Godfrey are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynn Marie Cordes to Joseph Zuercher Lanza, son of Vince and Laurinda Lanza of Bainbridge Island.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Marquette Catholic High School, and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in 2008 and her master’s degree in 2010, both from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is employed as a registered dietitian at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton.

The groom-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Bainbridge High School, a 2005 graduate of St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California, and a 2008 post graduate of St. Mary’s School of Education. He is employed as an educator of mathematics and economics and coach of the varsity boys golf team at Bainbridge High.

The couple reside in Poulsbo and will be married on June 27, 2015 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton, Illinois.
