Boys lacrosse
Bainbridge lost three non-league games last weekend, falling to New Westminster (B.C.), Palo Verde (Nev.) and Lakeridge (Ore.).
Bainbridge lost 14-2 to Westminster.
Julian Skotheim recorded nine saves in Bainbridge’s 14-5 loss to Palo Verde.
The team fell 12-6 to Lakeridge Sunday.
Girls lacrosse
Bainbridge junior Jaclyn Biggers was named U.S. Lacrosse Washington High School Player of the Week for March 22-28.
Biggers scored 21 points in Bainbridge’s first two wins over Seattle Prep and Snohomish. She had a total of 15 goals, six assists and 20 draw controls.
Biggers has started every game since her freshman year, and is a two-year letter-winner.
She was a second team All-State selection in 2009 and has played on the Washington State Regional Team since she was a freshman.
Bainbridge defeated Snohomish 16-5 on the road last Thursday.
Scoring: Biggers (4 goals, 3 asst.); Delaney Larkin (2 goals); Kelsey Mackin (4 goals, 1 asst.), Helen Sheffer (2 goals); Sydney Whitaker (4 goals, 1 asst.).
The team will face Roosevelt in its next contest at 4 p.m. April 9.
Baseball
Bainbridge (3-4) dropped both its games 5-3 on Friday and Saturday.
The Spartans took on Eastside Catholic on the road Friday and South Kitsap at home Saturday.
Softball
Bainbridge, the defending state champion, is ranked second in the state behind Union (4-0).
The Spartans have won six in a row since their 2-1 season opener loss to North Mason.
The Spartans defeated Eastside Catholic for the second time this season 14-1 on the road last Friday.
Senior Haylee Baker (2-0) threw five innings with two hits, one earned run and five strikeouts.
Baker also went one-for-one with two runs.
Lauren Reichert went two-for-three with a double and two RBIs.
The Spartans (6-1, 5-0 in Metro) will host Chief Sealth at 4 p.m. April 5 and take on West Seattle at 3:30 April 6 on the road.
Tennis
The Spartans will play four matches in five days next week.
The girls team will play its only away match of the week at North Kitsap at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Soccer
Bainbridge (4-0-0) is ranked third behind Shorecrest (4-0-0) and Camas (5-0-1).
The Spartans stretched their win streak to four with a 3-0 win over Seattle Prep last Thursday.
Alex Raquer scored two goals and Connor Winship had one.
The Spartans play their second of five consecutive road matches at 3:30 p.m. April 6 at West Seattle.
