Spartans stop Seattle Prep in varsity volleyball

Bainbridge High tamed the Seattle Prep Panthers 3-1 in girls varsity volleyball on the road Monday.

SEATTLE — Bainbridge High tamed the Seattle Prep Panthers 3-1 in girls varsity volleyball on the road Monday.

The Spartans won 25-17, 20-25, 25-13, 25-19.

Bainbridge was led by senior outside hitter Riley Kulfan, who had 18 kills and nine digs.

Sydney Maria contributed four aces to the Spartan victory, and teammate Erica Sprott had 36 assists.

The win improved Bainbridge’s record to 4-0 (1-0 in conference play). Prep fell to 1-2 (0-1).

The Spartans next face Eastside Catholic (2-2, 1-0) at home Wednesday in Paski Gymnasium.
