Spartans stop Seahawks 57-49 for boys basketball win

There were no more miracles left for the Seahawks Tuesday night on Bainbridge.

There were no more miracles left for the Seahawks Tuesday night on Bainbridge.

The Chief Sealth Seahawks, that is.

The visitors from Seattle went home disappointed after coming up short in a 57-49 loss to the Bainbridge High varsity basketball team.

The Seahawks led at the end of the first half 26-23, but Bainbridge came back hard in the third quarter for the scrappiest period of the game, and the final quarter began with the home team up, 38-35. Chief Sealth was unable to close the gap and pull ahead before the end.
