Spartans squashed 14-2 in boys LAX

The Bainbridge High boys varsity lacrosse team limped home after a dispiriting loss on the road.

ISSAQUAH – The Bainbridge High boys varsity lacrosse team limped home after a dispiriting loss on the road last Friday.

The Spartans fell 14-2 in the non-league contest against Issaquah High.

The host school lit up the scoreboard from the get-go, leading 5-0 by the end of the first quarter.

In the second, BHS managed to score one goal, but Issaquah put up three more as well.

BHS didn’t gain any ground in the third, but did score one more goal, their second and final, in the fourth.

BHS would go on to host the top-ranked team in the league, Eastside Catholic, Tuesday night.

The Spartans will again play at home and host Bishop Blanchet at 6 p.m. Friday, April 17.

Blanchet is ranked ninth in the league with an overall record of 1-5.
