Bainbridge fell to Lindbergh 44-6 in a district playoff game Friday night. The Spartans, whose post-season run marks their first appearance since 2006, entered the playoffs as the third seed from the Metro Sound division.
With seven minutes to go in the first quarter, Alex Johnson scored on a four-yard run. Will Devereux’s kick was wide left, but the Spartans took the early 6-0 lead.
The Eagles answered quickly with a 50-yard touchdown pass from freshman Matt Stuart to Frank Cange.

Carson Zajonc, who was sacked six times Friday, completed two-of-four passes.
