The Spartan Baseball Club will hold open tryouts for 13U and 14U Spartan squads at Sands Field on Bainbridge Island on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Tryouts are from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Spartan Baseball Club helps develop and prepare young men from the Kitsap and West Sound communities to play competitive baseball in high school programs and beyond. The organization works with young athletes to provide the best possible training and coaching available to facilitate their growth as baseball players, athletes and individuals.

Club officials note that the character and confidence nurtured through competitive play around the Puget Sound and across the U.S. should prepare these young athletes for successful high school, college, career and life experiences.
