Bainbridge

2022 record: 15-3 (14-1)

Coach: Katie Drovdahl

Key returners: Seniors Maya Fletcher and Avery Pujolar, and juniors Arden De Lanoy and Grace Rich

Outlook: Bainbridge fell short of expectations last season after reaching No. 3 in the rankings. However, the Spartans should still be a force to be reckoned with in the Olympic League.

Schedule: Sept. 5, Port Angeles; Sept. 12, North Kitsap; Sept. 14, at North Mason; Sept. 19, at Bremerton; Sept. 21, Kingston; Sept. 23, at Bellevue; Sept. 26, at Sequim; Sept. 28, at Port Angeles, Oct. 3, Olympic; Oct. 5, at North Kitsap; Oct. 10, North Mason; Oct. 12, Bremerton; Oct. 17, at Kingston; Oct. 19, Sequim

North Kitsap

2022 record: 13-5 (12-3)

Coach: Travis Rider

Key players: Senior Evelyn Beers and sophomore Syleena Hogan

Outlook: North Kitsap lost many of its top players. Even though the Vikings still sit toward the top of the league, their young players will need to step up early and often for a good postseason run.

Schedule: Sept. 5, 6 p.m. at Klahowya; Sept. 7, at North Mason; Sept. 12, at Bainbridge; Sept. 14, Bremerton; Sept. 19, at Kingston; Sept. 21, at Sequim; Sept. 26, Port Angeles; Oct. 3, North Mason; Oct. 5, Bainbridge; Oct. 10, at Bremerton; Oct. 12, Kingston; Oct. 17, Sequim; Oct. 19, at Port Angeles; Oct. 24, Olympic

Kingston

2022 record: 2-13 (2-12)

Coach: Craig Smith

Key Players: Senior Leighton Menge and junior Katie Zehrung

Outlook: Kingston lost many players but return its two all-league players. The Bucs should be strong defensively but need to find goal-scorers and playmakers if they want to field a competitive squad.

Schedule: Sept. 12, at Port Angeles; Sept. 14, Olympic; Sept. 19. North Kitsap; Sept. 21, at Bainbridge; Sept. 26, Bremerton; Sept. 28, at North Mason; Oct. 3, at Sequim; Oct. 5, Port Angeles; Oct. 10, at Olympic; Oct. 12, at North Kitsap; Oct. 17, Bainbridge; Oct. 19, at Bremerton; Oct. 24, North Mason; Oct. 26, Sequim

Olympic

2022 record: 7-12 (5-11)

Coach: Steve Haggerty

Key players: Junior Kaylee Cushman and sophomore Seraphina Bell

Outlook: Olympic started last season well before falling into an offensive slump, failing to score a goal in 10 consecutive games. If the Trojans can continue to improve offensively, they will continue to climb the Olympic League rankings.

Schedule: Sept. 5, 7 p.m. at Shelton; Sept. 9, 1 p.m., Highline; Sept. 12, at Bremerton; Sept. 14, at Kingston; Sept. 21, at Port Angeles; Oct. 3, at Bainbridge; Oct. 5, Bremerton; Oct. 10, Kingston; Oct. 12, at Sequim; Oct. 17, Port Angeles; Oct. 19, at North Mason; Oct. 24, at North Kitsap

Bremerton

2022 record: 7-9 (6-8)

Coach: Lindsey Dahl

Key players: Seniors Marisol Popoca-Pablo and Sophia Loperman

Outlook: The Knights lost the league MVP and some of their top players. If the younger players can step up, they should be able to have a similar record.

Schedule: Sept. 5, Crosspoint; Sept. 12, Olympic; Sept. 14, at North Kitsap; Sept. 19, Bainbridge; Sept. 21, at North Mason; Sept. 26, at Kingston; Sept. 28, Sequim; Oct. 3, at Port Angeles; Oct. 5, at Olympic; Oct. 10, North Kitsap; Oct. 12, at Bainbridge; Oct. 17, North Mason; Oct. 19, Kingston; Oct. 24, at Sequim; Oct. 27, Port Angeles

2022 record: 10-6-1 (10-5-1)

Coach: Christina Avery

Key players: Senior Rachael Remnet and sophomores Theresa Castro and Prestle Agana

Outlook: Central Kitsap will be fielding a strong defense and goaltending squad. However, some of the Cougars top goal scorers are gone, leaving them in need of playmakers in order to remain competitive.

Schedule: Sept. 7, North Thurston; Sept. 12, Gig Harbor; Sept. 14, River Ridge; Sept. 19, at Timberline; Sept. 21, Yelm; Sept. 26, at Capital; Sept. 28, at Peninsula; Oct. 3, at North Thurston; Oct. 5, at Gig Harbor; Oct. 10, at River Ridge; Oct. 12, Timberline; Oct. 17, at Yelm; Oct. 19, Capital; Oct. 24, Peninsula

Key players: Seniors Lauren Dickerson, Melanie Rojas Perez, Mya O’Shauhnessy, Hailey Deese and Grace Widergren

Outlook: South Kitsap went from the bottom of the league to the middle of the standings. With a solid group of seniors and an experienced younger core, the Wolves should be near the middle of the pack again.
