GIG HARBOR – The Spartans picked up a 14-8 win over Peninsula early last week in girls varsity water polo.

Grace Carson fired in six goals for the Spartans.

Frances Weller scored three, and Trudy Rimbault and Alex Miller added two each.

Julia Brooks also scored in the contest; the first game of three for Bainbridge on the road before the Spartans return to Bainbridge to play Tuesday, April 24 against Mercer Island.
