BHS’ Brigham makes history

Bainbridge High School alumna Paige Brigham recently made history, becoming the first female from the state to play lacrosse for the United States Naval Academy.

BAINBRIDGE – Bainbridge High School alumna Paige Brigham recently made history, becoming the first female from the state to play lacrosse for the United States Naval Academy.

Brigham joins a roster of 46 other players to make up the 2016 Navy womens lacrosse squad.

The BHS grad was named a U.S. Lacrosse All American last season, and graduated as the school’s all-time leader in assists for the girls team.

She was also the team points leader, a position she held since her sophomore year.

Brigham finished her high school playing career ranked second all-time in assists for the entire state. She is one of only two All Americans to be playing for the Naval Academy this year.
