BELLEVUE – The Bainbridge Spartans put the big squeeze on the Orange Crush with an 8-3 win over Eastside Catholic in varsity coed tennis last week.

Bainbridge walked away with two wins in boys singles and a pair of wins in girls singles in the Metro matchup at the Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club.

The competition was a hot one, at least as far as the thermometer goes. The mercury ran up to 88 degrees during the contest.

“For the most part we handled the heat and our opponents,” noted BHS Coach Jennifer Short.
