Bainbridge boys beaten 19-4 in water polo upset

UNIVERSITY PLACE – The Bainbridge High School varsity boys water polo team was bested 19-4 on the road Thursday, Oct. 20 by Curits High School. It was the next-to-last game of the regular season.

Sam Kapel put up three goals for the Spartans and Miles Hogger managed one, but the island team was otherwise handily outplayed, dropping their overall season record to 8-2.

The Spartans next traveled to their final regular match, against Wilson High, on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
