BAINBRIDGE – The 11th annual Pumpkin 500 swim meet will return to the Bainbridge Island Aquatic Center at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, and interested participants can register now.

“It is a fun community event open to anyone who wants to swim in it,” said  John Lunt of the Bainbridge Island Swim Club.

There is a $10 entry for individuals; $20 for relay teams. Register at the front desk at the aquatic center.

Swimmers will receive a custom “Pumpkin 500” swim cap (relay teams, five caps maximum).

Prizes will be awarded for best costumes, oldest and youngest swimmers and those in each age bracket who best estimate their finishing time.
