Sandra Wilkinson

February 28, 1946 – September 9, 2011

      Sandra Wilkinson of Poulsbo passed away on September 9, 2011 at the age of 65 after a courageous three year battle with breast cancer. Sandy was born on Feb. 28, 1946 in New Haven, CT to Eric & Laura (Wallace) Wilkinson.

      After attending Jr. College in Vermont she joined United Airlines in 1966 as a Flight Attendant based in Miami. Sandy flew for 30 years with United and was based in Honolulu, San Francisco & Seattle, retiring in 1991.

      Sandy was a long time resident of Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island. She loved to spend time hiking and walking her two dogs, Doobie and Rosie also known as her children.

      Sandy is preceded in death by her beloved fox terrier.

      Treasuring her memory are brother Eric Wilkinson of Sequim, sister Gail Wilkinson of Port Angeles, special friend, Andrea Tucker, her two dogs Doobie and Rosie and her many, many, many friends.

      In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kitsap County Humane Society or the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 12:00pm at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo. Her family and friends would like to thank Northwoods Lodge for their exceptional care.
