Ruth Lundy Palmer died Aug. 30 with her family at her side at her home in Silverdale. She was 83 years old.

She was born on Oct. 19, 1924 in Portland, Ore. to Charles Curtis Lundy and Dora Abigail Edwards. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Silverdale Fourth Ward.

She is survived by her husband Robert Arthur Palmer; children Charles, Robert Jr., Stan and Denis Palmer, Joann Carr, Doug Palmer, Karen Adams and Tami Potter; brothers John and Paul Lundy; 40 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service at 11 a.m Sept. 3 at the LDS 4th Ward, Frontier Building, 11070 Old Frontier Rd. NW in Silverdale. Interment will take place at Cherry Grove Cemetery in Poulsbo.
