Kenneth William Bergstrom, age 86

Kenneth William Bergstrom died Nov. 7. He was 86.

He was born April 18, 1923, to William J. and Helen L. (Bryant) Bergstrom, of Bainbridge Island.

He was a 1941 Bainbridge High School graduate, WWII veteran, Lt. Col. (retired) U.S. Army, and member of Reserve/Retired Officers (ROA and ROAL) and American Legion.

He loved a good story or joke. He helped those in need.

He was preceded in death on Sept. 2 by wife, Marian (Purves) Bergstrom,

Kenneth is survived by son Keith (Marion) Bergstrom of Manson; daughters Judy (Greg) Tutmark, of Camano Island, and Kathy (Ron) Nash, of Kent; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren,

Remembrances may be made to Foss Home or Providence Hospice. Memorial service on Bainbridge Island will be held at a later date.
