Ford Reginald Crull

Retired Navy Commander Ford Reginald Crull, 92, died Dec. 1 from complications following surgery at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle.

He was born May 19, 1910 in Armada, Mich. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

During his military career, he was a naval attache in Paris, France. Following retirement he became assistant head of the Far Eastern and Russian Department at the University of Washington.

He and his wife Carol were residents of Bainbridge Island and Seattle. He was a longtime member of the Seattle Tennis Club and attended Epiphany Episcopal Church in Seattle.

He is survived by his wife Carol; one daughter, Whitney Hines of Medina; and one son, Ford Crull, Jr., of New York City, N.Y.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 10 at Epiphany Episcopal Church, 1805 38th Ave., Seattle. Remembrances may be made to the church. Arrangements are by Kass Funeral Home, Bainbridge Island.
