Douglas Gail Lyon

December 1, 1926 – July 19, 2010

Douglas Gail Lyon passed away July 19, 2010 at his home on Bainbridge Island surrounded by family and friends.

Doug was born December 1, 1926 to Ora and Elsie Lyon in Douglas, Wyoming. He joined the Army, earning medals for good conduct, an American Theater Ribbon and a World War II Victory Ribbon. His time in the Army took him to Keyport where he met and married Lilly Mirranda.

Doug is survived by his son Andrew, daughters Cindy and Linda (Marty), grandchildren Melissa and Douglas (Kelsey), great grandchildren Manuel, Loa, Mary, Andee, Carly, Amy and Julie and longtime friend Jen Chambers.

There will be a service and potluck gathering at the home of Linda Hart, 8263 NE Carmella Lane, Bainbridge Island on Saturday, August 7 at 3:00PM.
