Wright earns law degree at UC

A 2003 graduate of Bainbridge Island High School and recipient of the island’s Rotary Club Scholarship, Wright was a member of the California Law Review and the Jessup International Law Moot Court team, as well as a co-director of Juvenile Hall Outreach while in law school.

In September she will begin a year-long clerkship with U.S. District Court Judge Nannette Jolivette Brown in New Orleans, Louisiana, after which she will join the Seattle law firm Susman Godfrey, LLP as an associate.

After graduating from the University of Washington in 2007, Wright taught language arts in New Mexico for the Teach for America program for two years and studied as a Fulbright Fellow in Amman, Jordan.
