Two islanders awarded degrees at Colorado College

Two Bainbridge Island students were among the 569 undergraduates receiving a degree from Colorado College at the May 16 ceremony.

Colin Chupik, a Bainbridge High School graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in geology.

Theodosia Fehsenfeld, also a Bainbridge High graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in organismal biology and ecology.

Colorado College alumna Marcia McNutt, president of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, gave the commencement address.

Colorado College is a four-year liberal arts college that was founded in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 1874.
