The Washington State Department of Transportation is advising travelers that the Hood Canal Bridge will be repeatedly opened and closed between 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, May 8, and 6:30 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, May 9.

Crews will be opening the draw span to test the systems that control the operation. Each opening will close the bridge to vehicular traffic for up to 30 minutes.
