The most rented movies on Bainbridge Island in 2016 | The Bainbridge Blab

Action, drama, comedy – the most rented movies on Bainbridge Island ran the genre gamut last year and included everything from your obvious blockbusters to more cineaste friendly fare. Documentaries also proved a big hit on Bainbridge, according to Colin Randall, owner and operator of Silver Screen Video, Kitsap County’s last remaining movie rental shop.

The secret to the shop’s success?

“I think it’s the clientele on Bainbridg, their tastes, that make the difference,” Randall said. “I don’t think we’d be able to survive if we just had more of the middle-of-the-road clientele. People come here because they like good movies and things are hard to find, and we have them and nobody else does.”

Silver Screen Video is located at 325 Tormey Lane NE, Suite 143. Call 206-842—261 or visit them on Facebook for more information.
